I got a chance to try out Snapseed, by Nik Software, Inc. for the iPad. It’s a app that lets you edit photos right on your iPad (or iPhone). I’ve tried a number of these types of programs out but very few keep my attention for very long. This app was actually a lot of fun to use and had some great editing and sharing tools. Very easy to use with currently 13 options for editing, such as black and white, frames and tilt-shift (to name a few). After saving an effect, you can add another effect to your change which gives you a lot of different possibilities for your photos. The example I used below, I first turned my photo into black white. Pumped up the contrast a bit and lightened, added a frame, a little tilt-shift and I was done. Snapseed costs $4.99 and can be found on iTunes and will work on the iPad or iPhone.
